On the Calendar:

The Ashford Alliance will hold its next General Meeting at Merrill Gardens on Wednesday, September 15th, 2010 at 7PM.

Our guest speaker will be District 40's own Senator Dan Weber. Senator Weber's achievements include:  A Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering from the University of Toledo, the "Outstanding Engineering Student in Ohio" designation from the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers, and a law degree from the University of Houston.  He is now in private practice, focusing primarily on dispute resolution within the construction industry, while also serving as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.

The Senator will speak to us about the education, cluster and charter schools, etc., issues that he has promoted during his tenure as Chair of the Georgia Senate and Youth Committee.
