The Ashford Alliance had an extremely beneficial meeting with new Marist Project Manager Bill Hale on Monday, October 17th, 2011 at 11AM.  We literally went over the Cross Creek plans at the back of Bill's black pick up truck!!  We now understand that the Cross Creek area project, due to be completed by February of 2012, has made a number of significant changes:  The huge "span bridge" to have been constructed towards the western end of the property has been discarded, the vehicular bridge will have special remote controls to protect all concerned in the event of any more disastrous floods, the pipeline right of way will be both maintained and planted by Marist, any incursions into the riparian stream buffers will be replanted, more trees than was required will be planted to offset any trees taken down, we will be allowed to revisit the property, etc.
